Anthony Atala, MD

Director of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine; W.H. Boyce Professor and Chair of the Department of Urology at Wake Forest University; Editor-in-Chief of Stem Cells-Translational Medicine, Current Stem Cell Research and Therapy, and Therapeutic Advances in Urology; Associate Editor of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Rejuvenation Research, and Gene Therapy and Regulation

Dr. Anthony Atala is the director of Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, where he led the team that engineered the first lab-grown organ to be implanted into a human – a bladder – and is currently developing technology able to 3D print human tissue and organs on demand, promising to revolutionize the practice of medicine.

Winner of the World Technology Award in Health & Medicine in 2011 and listed by the world-renowned TIME Magazine as one of the top 5 medical breakthroughs of the year in 2013, Dr. Anthony Atala is one of the world´s key opinion leader in Regenerative Medicine and 3D Bioprinting.

Jack Kreindler, MD

Medical Doctor;   Founder  and Medical Director of the Center for Health and Human Performance; Founder, Executive Chairman and Chief Medical Officer of Sentrian, Inc.; Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at GenieDB, Inc; Co-founder of Klarismo;

Dr. Jack Kreindler is a physician, physiologist and serial technology entrepreneur. He founded  The Center for Health and Human Performance (CHHP), renowned for its work with athletes, complex cases and celebrities taking on extreme challenges. Dr. Jack Kreindler is also the founder of Sentrian, the first Remote Patient Intelligence Company, that aims to eliminate all preventable hospitalization by leveraging the revolution in biosensors and machine learning to remotely detect patient deterioration earlier and with higher accuracy in complex chronic diseases.

Jack lectures internationally on the future of medicine and is a guest expert presenter for CNBC, Sky Sport, BT Sport and the BBC.

José Santos-Victor, PhD

President of the Institute of Systems and Robotics in Lisbon, Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, Founder of Vislab, coordinator of the Associate Laboratory LARSyS, International Coordinator of  the PhD Program RBCog – Robotics, Brain and Cognition

José Santos Victor is the president of the prestigious Institute of Systems and Robotics in Lisbon (ISR) | Lisboa and the coordinator of the Associate Laboratory LARSyS. He obtained his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Instituto Superior Técnico. He founded Vislab, the Computer and Robot Vision Laboratory and was the Portuguese Delegate to Planetary Exploration Progamme of the European Space Agency.

His research interests are in the areas of Computer and Robot Vision and biologically inspired vision and robotics. He is also the scientific responsible for the participation of ISR in various International research projects in the areas of Computer Vision and Robotics.

In the ISR are also developed innovative projects that aim to put robotics to the service of healthcare.
