Working in the backstage!

This is the group that has been working laboriously hard, making the AIMS Meeting their number one priority.

Meet the departments who are in charge of elaborating the AIMS Meeting 2026.

General Coordination
“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” – Vincent van Gogh

The General Coordination stands at the heart of the AIMS Meeting, orchestrating the many moving parts that transform a shared vision into a cohesive and impactful congress. By ensuring effective communication between departments, overseeing task distribution within the Organising Committee, and closely monitoring timelines and objectives, the General Coordinators safeguard the project’s structural integrity and momentum. Their role extends beyond operational management to include external representation, strategic guidance, and the continuous motivation of the team. Furthermore, they are entrusted with defining, supervising, and ensuring the rigorous execution of the congress’s budget, a responsibility that underpins the sustainability and ambition of the event.

Image and Communication Department
“Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” – Dorothea Lange

At the São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, with Lisbon unfolding behind us, the Image and Communication Department of AIMS Meeting stands exactly where it belongs – at the crossroads of vision, storytelling, and connection.
Just as this viewpoint offers a broad, inspiring perspective over the city, our team works to shape the way the world sees the AIMS Meeting. We craft the visual identity that defines the congress, build the narratives that give it life, and ensure every message reaches its audience with clarity, purpose, and creativity. From capturing moments to designing experiences, we are the lens through which the AIMS Meeting is shared, celebrated, and remembered.

Public Relations Department
“To communicate is to connect, and to connect is to create meaning.” — Leonard Sweet

The Public Relations Department acts as a link between the AIMS Meeting and the broader medical and academic community. Through the development of partnerships with national and international medical congresses, the team strengthens the congress’ presence and extends its impact beyond borders.

Throughout the entire journey, the team prioritizes clear and consistent communication, ensuring that every participant feels informed, supported, and valued. Set in the heart of Lisbon, Praça da Figueira serves as the backdrop for this photograph — a square where history, daily life, and movement intersect, reflecting the essence of the Public Relations Department and its role within the AIMS Meeting.
