Who Can Apply?
You’re eligible if you:
Integrated Master’s in Medicine
You must be enrolled in a Portuguese university.
Active Academic Status
You need to have active enrollment for the 2025/2026 academic year with a minimum of 30 ECTS.
Financial Aid Recipient
You must receive a valid financial aid or social action scholarship (e.g., DGES scholarship, AEFML scholarship, or similar programs).
How to Apply
Gather Your Documents
Prepare the following:
- Proof of enrollment
- Declaration of weighted grade point average
- Official proof of your financial aid/social action scholarship
Submit Your Application
Visit the Santander Open Academy platform and complete your application:

Wait for Results
Results will be announced within 2 working days after the application period closes. Selected candidates must confirm acceptance within 24 hours of notification.
Register with AIMS Meeting
After the publication of the results, complete your registration as a scholarship applicant on our platform. This step links your scholarship application to the AIMS Meeting 2026.

Selection Criteria
Candidates are ranked based on:
- University of enrollment (FMUL students have priority)
- Academic performance (weighted grade point average)
In case of a tie, preference is given to candidates with more scholarships and those in higher academic years.
