The AIMS Scientific Competition 2026 is your chance to put your biomedical knowledge to the test — and win big doing it.
Open to all On-Site participants, the competition unfolds across three rounds of multiple choice questions, answered live through the AIMS Meeting 2026 WebApp or Mobile App, covering 16 fields from the basic biomedical sciences curriculum: Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Histology, Physiology, Neurophysiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Neuropharmacology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biopathology, Neuroanatomy, Physiopathology, Oncobiology, Genetics, and Introduction to Clinical Practice.
The competition is powered by Perguntas da Especialidade and coordinated by Dr. João Correia.
How It Works

Preliminary Round
(April 17 | 17:00–18:00)
20 questions across all fields. The top 10 advance.

Semi-Final Round
(April 18 | 17:30–18:00)
10 clinical case-based questions. The top 2 advance.

Final Round
(April 18 | 17:30–18:30)
A head-to-head showdown where finalists choose their own subjects and can use perks like 50-50, Call a Friend, or Double Points.
