Ticket Options & Pricing

You may upgrade your ticket (e.g., from Single to Double or from Partial to Full) at any time before the end of the registration period. After registrations close, upgrades will no longer be possible.

To upgrade your ticket from a Partial to a Full registration:

1. Send an email to support@aimsmeeting.org with the subject line: “AIMS Meeting 2026 | Partial Ticket Upgrade”

2. In the email, include your registration details:

   • Full name

   • Email address used for registration

   • Identification number

3. Clearly state that you wish to upgrade from a Partial ticket to a Full ticket.

Once your request is received, you will be sent payment instructions via email to complete the upgrade. Please plan ahead to ensure you secure the ticket type that best suits your experience.

Tickets for AIMS Meeting 2026 are non-refundable under normal circumstances. Please confirm your availability before purchasing.

However, exceptions apply in specific cases:

• Research Competition participants: If you submit an abstract and it is not selected for the Poster Session, and you no longer wish to attend the event, you may request a refund. This is subject to approval by the Organising Committee and must be formally requested via email. For full details, please consult the AIMS Research Competition 2026 Regulations.

• Scholarship recipients: If you are awarded an AIMS Meeting scholarship after purchasing a ticket, you may also be eligible for reimbursement. Details will be provided once scholarship applications open.

All refund requests must be submitted to support@aimsmeeting.org, including relevant documentation and justification. Approval is not guaranteed and will be evaluated case-by-case.

We accept several secure and convenient payment methods to complete your registration. You can pay using Card (credit or debit), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Multibanco (for Portuguese bank accounts), or Klarna. Klarna may offer split payment options depending on your eligibility. All transactions are processed safely to ensure a smooth and reliable checkout experience.

Yes, you’ll receive a confirmation email after completing your payment.

After submitting your registration, you should receive an email with the payment details. If you do not see this email, please check your spam, junk, or external mail folders. If you are still unable to find it, do not hesitate to contact us so we can assist you.

Official Invitation Letters are not issued automatically.

Participants who require an Official Invitation Letter must submit a request by email to support@aimsmeeting.org with the subject line: AIMS Meeting 2026 | Official Invitation Letter Request

In the body of the email, please include the following registration details:
• Full name
• Email address
• Identification number (as used during registration)

Additionally, clearly state that you are requesting an Official Invitation Letter.

After confirmation of the request, please allow up to two weeks for the document to be issued and sent to your registered email address.

No, the Single Ticket only grants access to the XII AIMS Masterclasses. For full access to AIMS Meeting 2026, consider the Partial, Full or Double Ticket options.

We welcome and encourage international students to participate in our events. However, please note that the XII AIMS Masterclasses will be conducted entirely in Portuguese. While no language restrictions apply to registration, a working understanding of Portuguese is strongly recommended to fully benefit from the sessions.
